About Aynur Jafarova
Aynur Jafarova joined CKH Group in September 2022 as part of the Indirect Tax Consulting Department. She began her role with a focus on environmental compliance and consulting, a dynamic field that presents both challenges and opportunities. With constant regulatory developments, her work contributes to a more sustainable future by supporting the transition to a “green economy.” In addition to environmental compliance, she provides expertise in sales tax consulting in the US and handles various indirect taxation matters across Europe, including excise duties, VAT, and CO₂ taxes.
In her role, Aynur stays up to date on environmental taxation developments across Europe and the Americas, ensuring clients remain compliant with evolving regulations. She assists businesses in identifying and addressing gaps in their existing compliance processes and provides guidance on indirect taxation matters in both the US and Europe. Through her expertise, she helps organizations navigate complex tax frameworks and adapt to regulatory changes effectively.

Aynur Jafarova holds a Bachelor’s degree in Management from the Academy of Public Administration in Baku, Azerbaijan, and a Master’s degree in Finance from the University of Nottingham in the UK. Her professional experience includes working as an Assets and Liabilities Specialist in the banking sector before transitioning to tax advisory. She spent approximately six years at EY in Azerbaijan, where she advanced to the role of Manager before joining CKH Group in 2022.
Outside of work, Aynur enjoys spending time with her large family, which includes her daughter, husband, two dogs, and two cats. She values weekend walks in the park and traditional family breakfasts. She is also passionate about traveling and exploring new places. In her free time, she practices yoga, watches movies, and reads books, with a particular interest in psychology.
