About Alexandra Michalopoulou
Alexandra Michalopoulou began her role in October 2020, amid the pandemic, as a Senior GL Accountant for the Balkan countries. She quickly expanded her responsibilities to include statutory compliance work for France and Switzerland. After a year, her focus shifted entirely to statutory compliance and the drafting of financial statements for Italy, Switzerland, and France. In 2022, she further broadened her expertise by taking on financial statement preparation and compliance for CKH Hellas in Greece, as well as managing payroll.
Currently, her responsibilities as a Statutory Compliance Manager extend across France, Luxembourg, Italy, Switzerland, and Belgium. She leads a team of seven dedicated and highly qualified colleagues, collaborating closely to achieve optimal results. In addition, she oversees compliance and financial statement preparation for the Greek office, as well as managing payroll.

Alexandra Michalopoulou holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Piraeus and completed an Erasmus program in Economics at the University of Gent. She also earned a Master’s degree in Accounting and Business Administration from the University of Essex. Fluent in both English and French, she has gained extensive experience in the field, having worked as an associate accountant at a Greek accounting firm, a senior accountant in the hotel industry, and an external associate for BlackRock Real Estate in Greece.
When Alexandra is not working, she enjoys traveling, reading books, going to the theatre, and playing bridge.
