CKH Group Announces Leadership Transition: Nico Meyer Appointed as Chief Executive Officer

Atlanta, GA, March 24, 2021 – The CKH Group, which includes CKH CPAs and Advisors LLC and CKH Consulting LLC, proudly announces the appointment of Nico Meyer as the new Chief Executive Officer. This leadership transition marks a significant milestone in the company’s journey as it continues to strengthen its position in the global financial services industry.

Nico Meyer, with over 30 years of experience in finance and accountancy, brings a robust background in executive leadership, having held key positions at prestigious organizations such as PwC, Multichoice, and Digicel. His extensive expertise in streamlining business operations, driving growth, and elevating businesses to new heights is expected to steer CKH Group into its next phase of development.

Since joining CKH in 2018, Nico has been instrumental in leading several high-impact initiatives. These include overseeing complex carve-out accounting and specialized segment financial statements, managing multiple audit assurance engagements, and structuring and executing financial shared services for some of CKH Group’s largest clients. His strategic vision and deep understanding of the accounting and finance industry have earned him the respect of his colleagues and clients alike.

“Nico’s experience and valuable insights into the accounting and finance industry make him an ideal leader for CKH Group,” said Harry Catrakilis, the founder and former CEO of CKH Group. Harry, who has been the driving force behind CKH Group’s evolution from a local accounting and tax practice into a global organization, will continue to serve as non-executive chairman with a special focus on incubator programs. Reflecting on his nearly two decades at the helm, Harry noted, “My entrepreneurial spirit and work ethic are deeply ingrained in the firm’s DNA, and I am excited to continue supporting CKH Group’s growth in my new role as non-executive chairman.”

In addition to Nico’s appointment as CEO, CKH Group has made several other strategic changes and confirmations within its executive leadership team, all aimed at positioning the firm for sustained growth and success. Eon van Wyk has been named Chief Financial Officer and will continue to oversee Global Audit and Statutory Compliance. Frank D’Urban Jackson has been appointed Chief Tax Officer, where he will manage CKH’s team of corporate and individual tax experts. Kate Kudrenko has been named Vice President of Special Projects, and Nick Catrakilis will take on the roles of Chief People Officer and Treasurer. Finally, John Goss has been appointed as Indirect Tax Principal, where he will be responsible for all Sales and Local Taxes.

These appointments reflect CKH Group’s commitment to assembling a leadership team that is not only highly skilled but also deeply aligned with the firm’s values and strategic objectives. The firm’s leadership changes are expected to enhance CKH Group’s ability to deliver exceptional financial solutions to its diverse clientele, ranging from individuals and small businesses to government entities and multinational corporations.
