A Journey of Dedication and Leadership

Originally from Kyiv, Ukraine, Kate has built a distinguished career in accounting and finance. After earning her master’s degree at the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, she honed her expertise at a Big 4 accounting firm and industry. It was during this time that she developed a keen interest in business expansion and operational efficiency, skills that would later become instrumental in her work at CKH Group.

In 2016, Kate joined CKH Group, taking on the challenge of establishing and leading the firm’s Ukraine office, playing a crucial role in growing the firm’s international presence. Through her leadership, the office became a vital extension of CKH Group, contributing to the company’s ability to serve clients on a global scale. During this time, she earned her Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license in a state of Georgia (USA), further solidifying her expertise and commitment to excellence in the accounting field. In 2022, she relocated to the U.S., bringing her extensive knowledge and leadership skills to the company’s headquarters as CKH Group’s VP of Consulting. Then, in 2025, Kate was promoted to Group CEO in response to CKH’s rapid growth.

Beyond her professional success, Kate is dedicated to community involvement and professional development. She is an active member of the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) and serves as the treasurer of the Ukrainian Congress Committee of America (Georgia Branch). Additionally, she volunteers at a local library and plays an integral role in CKH Cares, the firm’s nonprofit foundation.

Leading CKH Group into the Future

As the new CEO, Kate is focused on elevating CKH Group’s impact by fostering growth, improving efficiency, and ensuring that the firm continues to provide top-tier services to its diverse clientele as it scales. She values having a close understanding of the needs of both clients and employees. “I want to know what’s happening with every client and every CKH employee, and I am very passionate about making things better and simpler,” she shares.

Her key priorities for CKH Group include:

• Building a scalable, growing organization that consistently exceeds client expectations
• Strengthening internal structures to ensure that the right people are in the right roles
• Expanding service offerings to meet the evolving needs of businesses and individuals
• Enhancing technological integration to streamline operations and improve efficiency

Kate firmly believes that company success starts with its people. She emphasizes a work culture that promotes proactive problem-solving, continuous learning, and adaptability. “Any position, from intern to CEO, can be stressful. A truly successful employee knows how to take feedback constructively and act on it immediately. No overthinking—just acknowledge the facts and strive for continuous improvements” she explains.

Kate’s Vision for a Thriving Workplace

A passionate advocate for strong workplace culture, Kate strives to create an environment where employees feel empowered to take initiative and solve challenges effectively. She believes that leadership should be approachable, strategic, and solutions-oriented.

Her leadership style encourages employees to think critically and take ownership of their work. “If a problem arises, I want my team to say, ‘Here’s the issue, here are two solutions—I prefer the first one, and I will proceed unless I hear back from you in 36 hours.’ This mindset fosters efficiency and confidence,” she explains.

Kate also acknowledges that a productive workforce is a happy and motivated workforce. While she personally prefers working from the office, she understands that different employees thrive under different setups. “People work best in environments where they feel productive, creative, and engaged. My role as CEO is to support that flexibility while maintaining strong team collaboration,” she says.

Kate’s appointment as CKH’s first female CEO marks a significant milestone; not just for CKH Group, but for the traditionally male-dominated profession as a whole. Her advice for aspiring leaders? “Always do the right thing and go the extra mile. Show initiative, present solutions, act fast and stay responsive and proactive.”
